Ayurveda (Age: + Veda = Ayurveda) is one of the oldest medical systems in the world. It is a mixture of science, art and philosophy. The name 'Ayurveda' means 'knowledge of the nectar of life' and that is the essence of Ayurveda in a nutshell. Ayurveda is Indian medicine. Medicine is that branch of science which is concerned with keeping the human body healthy, freeing or extinguishing the disease in case of disease and increasing its lifespan.
Four months later, the corona virus continues to wreak havoc all over the world. Scientists from all over the world are working day and night to find a break from this deadly disease. Until the corona virus is treated or vaccinated, it is important that we all take care of our health and strengthen our body.
Along with social distancing and hand washing, it is also important that we prepare our body to fight infection, especially immunity. The AYUSH Ministry of Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy has released a list of Ayurveda approved practices that can help boost your immunity, especially at this time. Ayurveda knowledge is gained through daily diet or seasonal diet.

General measures
To keep your health right, the ministry advises you to follow a routine every day. These are very common types of things.
- Drink lukewarm water throughout the day.
- Do yoga daily. Which should include yoga asanas, pranayam and meditation for at least half an hour.
- Include turmeric, cumin and coriander in your food. According to Ayurveda all these things increase the immunity of the body.

According to the Ministry of AYUSH, during the corona virus epidemic, to strengthen your body and strengthen the immune system, do the following:
- Eat one tablespoon or 10 grams of Chyawanprash daily in the morning. However, diabetic patients should take care to eat sugar-free Chyawanprash only.
Drink herbal tea daily, also known as decoction. It should include basil, cinnamon, black pepper, saunth and raisins. You can also add jaggery and fresh lemon juice. Drink it twice daily.
- Put half a teaspoon of turmeric in lukewarm milk and drink it twice a day.

Dry cough or sore throat
If you are having problems like dry cough or sore throat, then do this:
Boil mint leaves and parsley in water and then steam. Do this once a day.
If you have cough and sore throat, eat sugar or honey mixed with long powder. It can be taken twice a day.
If the problem does not end even after this, then see your doctor.
Follow Ayurveda daily
There are some things of Ayurveda that you can try daily, whether you are feeling any problem or not.
In the nostrils, apply mustard or coconut oil or ghee in the morning and evening.
Take one tablespoon mustard or coconut oil and rinse it for 2-3 minutes and then spit it out. After this, rinse once again with lukewarm water. You can do this twice a day.
