Bandra-Worli Sea Link


Congress President Sonia Gandhi ceremoniously inaugurated it. The eight-lane bridge, known as the Bandra Worli Sealink, has been opened for only four lanes of traffic. About five and a half kilometers long, this bridge will be able to pass one lakh vehicles every day. People will not have to get stuck in jams at about two dozen traffic lights and they will complete the half hour journey from Bandra to Worli in 10 minutes.
